mihimaru GT這名字的由來是由hiroko前頭的「hi」和miyake的「mi」組成，而maru的意思是日語的「丸」（船的名字，像xx號），GT是由於他們兩都覺得mihimaru像船般那麼慢，所以加”GT”兩個字下去，像GT跑車般讀得那麼快。

also i find it amusing how Taiwan Universal (re)named them into 大和美姬丸 for the Chinese market.
